To take admission in B.E./B.Tech in JSEC, do the following:
Score 10+2 minimum 50% marks in PCM from a valid board.
Enroll on TNEA (Anna University) in May–June.
Get certificates verified and go for counselling through ranking options.
If admitted, fill out JSEC's online application with documents and pay the fee to secure admission.

For Jaya Sakthi Engineering College (JSEC) through TNEA, recent closing ranks for General category (OC) in 2024 were around:
Biomedical Engineering: ~23,664.
Artificial Intelligence & Data Science: ~83,758.
Computer Science & Engineering: ~100,630.
Pharmaceutical Engineering: ~186,668.
These are the lowest TNEA rank for seat allotment in various B.Tech streams.

Obtaining admission to Jaya Sakthi Engineering College (JSEC) is not that difficult.
If you obtain average or above-average marks in your 12th board exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Math, you stand a good chance.
Admission is done on the basis of TNEA counseling, and cutoffs are not that high when compared to top engineering colleges. Competition is moderate.

The Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences (Caltech) acceptance rate stands at 2.3 % (UG Class of 2028), which means out of every 100 applicants, only 2 to 3 candidates were rolled out an offer letter, which makes it an ambitious school to get into. Submission deadline: June 11, 2025
Following seat allotment in TNEA, document verification and payment process is done in June–July.

JSEC's hostel mess is well-fitted and usually complimented:
Clean modern kitchen, hygienic well-cooked food by professional cooks, and healthy menu for both hostels.
Student feedback calls it "clean," "tasty," and well kept, with a nice ambience.
Overall, the quality is rated as good and trustworthy.

Yes, there is a placement cell in Jaya Sakthi Engineering College:
The placement cell starts company interactions and training from the pre-final semester and goes up to the final one.
They conduct on-campus interviews and supports off-campus drives if necessary.
It provides soft-skills, aptitude, and interview preparation classes.
About 60–65% of students are placed, with major recruiters such as TCS, Zoho, Sutherland, CSS Corp, Hyundai, Accenture, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra.

Caltech Division of Engineering and Applied Science does not have a rounds system and it only has one intake which is Fall for both UG and PG. The UG applicants can apply via the Restrictive Early Action which is non-binding and an early deadline. There is a Regular decision deadline too for UG students which is the standard application route.
On the contrary, for the Caltech PG Engineering courses, international students must apply to their specific admission deadline which generally have the same intake with one firm deadline.
