- For its flagship BTech course, NIT Sikkim admits students with a valid JEE Main score and are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling. Admission to M.Tech is done through GATE, followed by CCMT Counselling. Similarly for MSc admission, IIT JAM and CCMN Counselling are required. However, PhD admission requires to appear in the Institution entrance exam and PI. Additionally, NIT Sikkim conducts IAT (Institute Admission Test), for admission to the left-over seats from the CCMN and CCMNT counselling for MSc/MTech.
- The cutoff for BTech, MTech, and MSc courses is released by the respective counselling bodies.The shortlisted candidates are then required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.
