Yes, candidates who appear in two GATE papers have to pay the fees of the two selected papers. Candidates will have to pay the fees at time of filling GATE 2024 application form. Candidates can select any two papers out of the allowed combinations as per their qualifying degree of examination.

The difference between the two is that while the GATE CCMT cutoff is prepared by the exam conducting authority, which is IIT Bombay for admissions to various institutions through GATE score, the IIEST Shibpur M.Tech merit list, on the other hand, is the list of candidates actually selected for admission to this specific institution.

The Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur admits students on the basis of valid GATE score for its MTech courses. IIEST Shibpur GATE cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 6 for a few MTech specialisations. As per the IIEST Shibpur GATE cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank was ranged between 351 and 427, among which MTech in Structural Engineering was the most competitive specialisation. No, NIT Agartala M.Tech without GATE is not possible. Candidates seeking admission to the National Institute of Technology Agartala M.Tech course must visit the official website of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) to apply online. NIT Agartala admits students on the basis of candidates' performance in the GATE entrance test. GATE 2025 exam will be held between February 1 and February 16.

No, admission to the M.Tech courses is only through GATE in NITs. There is no other provision for admission. Furthermore, after GATE, it is also crucial that the candidates with scores equal to or more than the cutoff take part in CCMT counselling. The final selection is based on merit in both selection rounds.
