No, it is not necessary to have a GATE score. As the institute accepts scores of other national-level exams such as UGC-NET/CSIR-NET as well. Moreover, aspirants who did not appear for any of the mentioned exams can take the written test conducted by IIT Mandi.

For the M.Des (Master of Design) programme at Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, it's not mandatory to take the GATE exam. However, if you have a GATE qualification, it can boost your application.
To be eligible for the M.Des (Interior Design) program, you need a bachelor's degree in BDes (Interior Design), BArch, or BE Civil / BTech Civil with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Additionally, you should submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV), a Statement of Purpose (SOP), and a Portfolio of Work (POW).

No, candidates seeking admisison must have a valid score in IIT JAM exam and not GATE. GATE is the accepted exam for admission to M.Tech at IIT Gandhinagar. The institute also offers an Early Admit MSc, the eligibility criteria for that is as follows:
- BSc and BTech students from select colleges and NITs, respectively who will graduate in 2022 or have graduated in 2021 and are among the top five rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre-final year and final year are eligible to apply for Early Admit MSc

Yes, non-GATE candidates must appear for the institute level entrance test. However, all candidates are required to appear for the PI round for final selection. In addition to this, BTech graduates from the IITs with CGPA/ CPI of 8.0 or above (on a scale of 10) are eligible to get admission to M.Tech at IIT Gandhinagar without GATE. Other than GATE or the criteria state above, candidates are required to be a pass in BE/ BTech/ MSc or equivalent in appropriate branches with a minimum of 55% aggregate or 5.5 on a 10-point scale (50% aggregate for SC /ST).

No, the university does not accept GATE or any other entrance exam score. Admission to M.Tech course is purely based on merit. Bharath University shortlists candidates for M.Tech based on their score in the last qualifying exam. BIHER releases a merit list announcing the names of selected aspirants. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification round. Aspirants need to bring the documents proving their eligibility for verification.
