The PSUs job salary through GATE ranges between INR 7,00,000 PA to INR 18,00,000 PA and varies with the respective PSU's guidelines. This salary range is applicable for the candidates selected under the designations such as Graduate Trainee (get), Executive Trainees (ET), Engineer Trainee (ET), Management Trainee (MT), and Trainee Engineers (TE). Duration: 3 Hours
Number of Subjects: 27
Sections: General Aptitude (GA) + Candidates Selected Subject
Type of Questions: (A) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) (B) Remaining types: MSQ) and NAT Questions for testing these abilities: Recall, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, and Synthesis
Number of Questions: 10 (GA) + 55 (subject) = 65 Questions

Apart from ESE, GATE, and PSUs many exams are held to recruit in various organizations in India, such as -
1- Railway recruitment board (SSE & JE )- RRB takes exams for junior engineers and senior section engineers. Although it is a group C job after 12 to 13 years of experience with time-to-time promotions you will be promoted to a group A job equivalent to an ESE/IES officer.
2- SSC-JE: it is a group B job and it is conducted for the recruitments in various posts in various departments such as Military Engineering Services (MS). you will be subordinate to an ESE/IES officer.

Students who graduated or graduating from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and National Institute of Technology (NIT) with a Bachelor of Technology (B.E. /B.Tech) Degree and have a CGPA of 8.0 (on a scale of 10) and above can apply without GATE Score or other than that they have to give the written test and will have to face a Personal Interview . The difference between a GATE score and GATE marks:
1- The difference between GATE marks and GATE scores is that GATE marks are calculated on a scale of 100, whereas GATE scores are calculated on a scale of 1000. The GATE Score is calculated on the basis of normalized marks and taking actual marks.
2- The GATE Score is widely accepted by the Public Sector Undertaking bodies as well as the Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institute of Science, and National Indian Institutes of Technology at the time of admission into higher studies.
