Dear Narain, GATE is not mandatory to apply for the M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering programme at LPU. You can appear for the LPU NEST exam for the programme and get admission easily. My friend also completed B.Tech and M.Tech from LPU itself. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricula

Hello Uma Singh, you have done your Masters in geography and now you are intending to do M.Tech in geoinformatics. Right? I would say that it is definitely possible since basic eligibility to appear for GATE is either engineering graduation or M.Sc. You can get to know other parameters of eligibility from the website for GATE. Best wishes to.

Hello TGA, you are already a graduate or going to be one shortly. Right? You must have given large number of exams by now. Okay. This exam is at the level of graduation and hence questions are based on application of knowledge and logic. Just have a look at the syllabus and make time table. Give space for recreation also. Health is of vital importance. Exercises and yoga should be part of daily routine. Then take mock examination. It will help you tremendously. Spend more time on weak topics. That's it
Best wishes to you.

Hello Rumit Kumar Singh, it's very nice to hear from you that you have already qualified GATE. The fees charged by different institutions are not dependent on score in GATE but on a host of different factors. Hence these differ from institution to institution. You would be better advised to download brochure of your intended college to know about this aspect. Majority of students who go for M.Tech get some stipend or scholarships. But for this also you need to obtain information from your probable college. Best wishes to you.
