For PG courses : Students are expected to have at least 70-75% from a reputed Indian University. They are also required to appear for GRE (by some Universities) and a score of above 300 should do the needful. Also, it can boost a student's profile if he or she appears for the course even though the University has not requested for it. IELTS (6.0) or TOEFL (100) is also required. Regards.

The admission process takes upto 6-8 months or more including from the time of admission announcements to admission decisions. The visa process must also be counted which is a time consuming affair. You must know the admission deadlines and intakes and submit your form in such a way that you don't miss the desired intake. Get in touch with the respective universities.

Please go through the DAAD website and check the list of funding opportunities they have. 100% scholarship is possible but seem to be a little difficult for you basis 70%. Instead of simply relying on a scholarship you should also think of applying for an education loan. More than half of the student population in India takes an education loan to study abroad so why can't you? Keep looking for options and something or the other will work out. Scholarships are always on the basis of merit, ability, skills etc.

First and foremost, you have to complete your undergraduate degree from a recognised university. You must be academically very strong and sound to be considered for admission in a German university. Some other key requirements also include knowledge of German language although many universities do not require prior knowledge of German language. You must also take the IELTS. Your profile must be competitive and consist of excellent projects, research etc. F

German Universities are very selective and admissions are extremely competitive. In addition to having very good percentage, you must also have solid internship, projects, research oriented work etc. Publications and patents are beneficial. You must also take the IELTS and some knowledge German language. Check the DAAD website for universities and requirements. RWTH Aachen, University of Stuttgart are some of the few.
