Hi.

The GIBS MBA/PGDM admission process involves several stages. Initially, candidates must have a valid score from a national or state-level management entrance exam like CAT,  MAT,  XAT, or CMAT. Following the exam, applicants submit an online application form with personal and academic details, including the entrance exam score. The applications are reviewed, and candidates are shortlisted based on their academic record, exam scores, and overall profile. Shortlisted individuals are typically required to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) within a specific timeframe. After SOP evaluation, candi

Yeah, totally! A candidate can apply for both PGDM and BBA at the same time in GIBS.

The process is very simple — you just fill out the applications separately, and the team guides you throughout. GIBS is super supportive, so if you have any confusion, they actually help you choose what's best for you.

So yes, applying for both is absolutely fine!

Here's the PGDM admission process at GIBS:

1. Fill the application form
You just apply online or contact the GIBS team to start the process.

2. Share your entrance exam score
Submit your CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / ATMA / GMAT score. If you don't have it yet, you can share it later too.

3. Get shortlisted
GIBS checks your score, academics, and basic details.

4. Attend GD & PI
If you're shortlisted, you'll be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. This is the main part where they see your communication and confidence.

5. Receive offer letter
If you clear GD-PI, you'll get the admission offer from GIBS.

6. Submit documents & pay fees

GIBS looks at entrance exam scores in a very simple and balanced way. They don't judge you only by your CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT score — they just use it to check your basic aptitude.

Even if your score is average, it's totally fine because GIBS focuses more on your overall profile, your confidence, and how you perform in GD & PI. These exams just help them understand your basics in quant, reasoning, and verbal, but the final selection is more about your attitude and willingness to learn.

So, scores matter, but they're not everything — GIBS gives everyone a fair chance.

GIBS Business School lays down the eligibility criteria for admission to its BBA and PGDM programs to ensure that the students are academically ready and apt for the management studies program.
