From my experience, GIBS really helped me become more confident step by step.
When I joined, I wasn't very comfortable speaking in front of people or attending interviews. But over time, through workshops, presentations, guest sessions, group activities, mock interviews, and placement training, I became much more confident.
I also got opportunities to interact with industry professionals and work on different projects, which helped me improve my communication and overall personality.
Looking back, I feel GIBS didn't just help me with academics. It helped me believe in myself, and that confidence really helped me during placements. I later

At GIBS, I got support throughout my PGDM journey, not just during placements.
I got guidance for resume building, mock interviews, aptitude training, communication skills, and personality development. I also got opportunities to attend workshops, guest lectures, industry visits, internships, and live projects, which gave me good practical exposure.
All of this really helped me during my placement process. I became more confident, understood what companies expect, and was able to perform better in interviews. In the end, I got placed, and I feel these sessions played a big role in preparing me.
Overall, GIBS doesn't just focus on placemen

The minimum graduation percentage required for MBA/PGDM at GIBS Bangalore is At least 50% in graduation (any stream)
Simple eligibility:
• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university
• Minimum ~50% marks in graduation
• Final-year students can also apply (if they meet criteria after results)
• Valid entrance exam score like CAT / CMAT / MAT / ATMA / etc.
In some cases, SC/ST candidates may get relaxation (around 45%) depending on rules.
So overall, it's a straightforward eligibility process among PGDM colleges in Bangalore focused more on entrance + interview + overall profile rather than very high cutoffs.

At Global Institute of Business Studies Bangalore, placement packages are quite balanced, with good opportunities for both average and top-performing students.
- the highest package: around ₹16–20 LPA
- Average package: around ₹7–8 LPA
- the lowest package: around ₹4–5 LPA
- Many companies visit, so students get multiple chances
- Final package depends on skills, communication, and performance
Most students get a decent salary, and with good effort you can get higher packages — like I was able to get around 9 LPA. One of the best college in terms of placements and ROI.
