It is a misnomer that MBA in HR is for females only. It is true that a lot of female candidates prefer doing MBA in HR and their percentage in the industry is increasing rapidly, but it is also a fact that majority of Chief People Officer or HR head in Indian private sector or PSUs are males. If you are really interested in making a career in the HR sector, then yes it's a good choice to pursue MBA (HR). However, you have to provide a proper answer to the interviewers in case they ask you the reason to switch to HR field from CS.
Coming to the second part of your question, it depends upon the B-School you're aiming for. A score of 99+ percentile is a must for the old IIMs, 96+ for the new ones and some top non-IIMs and 85-90+ for the other decent B-Schools. Wish you all the best for your CAT preparation!

Eligibility requirements for part-time MBA programs are quite similar to the requirements seen in full time MBA programs. Just that these programs are designed for working professionals with at least two years of work experience.
Candidates will need a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university. They would also need GMAT or other entrance exam scores, essays, recommendation letters, a resume, and a personal statement.
However, in many colleges that offer direct admission, aspirants will not be required to submit GMAT or other entrance test scores.

Yes you can. As there are various courses offers by colleges for the persons who are doing jobs. Like in our college there is the course called executive MBA program in university of pune(pumba). They need to attend the classes at night 7 pm onwards and its 3 year course. But make sure as you want to be HR you have to do the MBA in HR from the top colleges only.
