IIT Delhi and IIT Madras are well known and reputed institutions in India. According to the NIRF 2023, IIT Madras ranked is 01 while IIT Delhi is ranked 03 in the Engineering category. Both the colleges offer MSc course across various specialisations with top quality education to its students. Both colleges have world class infrastructure. Both colleges have highly qualified and experienced faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. Both colleges are very good in their own way.  Which one is the best college depends on what the person is actually looking for in a college or university.

Only the CRL rank is taken into account for IITs. Because of their higher cut-offs, admittance to IITs is impossible for someone with a CRL rank of 4 lakh. IIT admissions are highly competitive, with just the CRL rank being taken into consideration. SC category ranks are not used for admission to IITs.

The IIT Delhi cutoff 2024 has been concluded for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses. As per the JEE Advanced 2024 cutoff for the Last Round, the closing rank for BTech ranged between 116 and 4849 for the General AI category students. The toughest course to get into IIT Delhi was CSE. So, candidates seeking admission at this institute must aim to secure up to 4850 rank to be eligible for BTech admission. The required cutoff ranks will vary based on the categories you fall into. The eligibility criteria for IIT Delhi MSc require applicants to have scored at least 55% in their graduation. They must hold a valid bachelor's degree in a relevant stream. Hence, a candidate with 60% in graduation can apply for IIT Delhi MSc admission. However, this is does not guarantee a seat for MSc at the institute. Admission to the course is entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to MSc at the institute must have a valid score in any one of the accepted entrance exams (COGJET/GATE/JAM/NET).
