No, the college does not offer any such relaxation. They have a state govt scholarship program which you will get during your academic session. You have to fill out the scholarship form for that.

NTA has released percentile score of students participated in JEE Main January-2019 exam. The NTA Score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored EQUAL TO or BELOW (same or lower raw scores) that particular Percentile in that session. Further NTA score is not the same as percentage of marks obtained. So higher NTA percentile mean you are at top.

Hello Janvi, I am afraid there is no direct answer for your query. However there is an ingenious and interesting way to solve your query. I am attaching a link that will predict college for you based on your percentile score. What I suggest is keep on inputting different percentile scores and check at which student does not get reputed college. Right? Best wishes to you.

Hello Ishfaque,
It seems that you are quoting percentile from your Jan attempt. Percentile does not give ranking and eligibility for JEE Advanced will be some fixed number of students from each category. Hence, it all depends on how many are above you. In addition almost 80% students are appearing again and may obtain better percentile and could be placed above you. Hence I would request you to kindly have patience and do not get excited. Another few weeks' time result is expected from NTA. Best wishes to you.

The placement of DTU is very good, as they easily attract the top companies to their college and place their students in them. It is a government college.

It is difficult to predict marks as exam pattern and marks change every year, but you should score more than 50% marks to get good branch in Top IITs. In order to qualify for JEE Advanced, you need to score 81 marks in JEE Main in general category according to 2017 cut off. All the best.
