Yes, EWS quota will be applicable in JEE Main during the seats allotment process and this will be approximately 10% for the students whose father income is below the Rs 8,00,000/.

As your percentage is not good enough to get very good government colleges in CSE as that is the most competing branch. You may get in IIIT's. So work well and achieve the best.

There are only few chances of getting admission in this university. If not just go for the other option.
Hope for the best.

The EWS option would be provided later on in other applications. May be some technical issue might have come up.

EWS only has a 10% reservation if you see to that. 22k means, they are 22k more students ahead of you. Talking about NIT, I can say that getting into that will be difficult. But, coming to your question if good college there are many good colleges that can give admission. I am not sure about the marks you got if you have told that then I could have suggested some colleges. Many good colleges that are private take their own entrance examination. For more clarification kindly give the range of the marks you got. Marks and not normalized score.

No, you better appear for an entrance exam and score well as your percentage is not good enough to get admission in any engineering college for particular branch.

Which percentage are you talking about. If it's your boards percentage then it is enough to get into NIT after clearing JEE MAINS with good score.
If the marks mentioned above is JEE normalised score then it won't be possible to get into NIT . The normalised score for getting into any NIT should be more than 90. Moreover if CS IT is the branch you are concerned about , the score may be more than 95 even . I am talking about Normalised score and not marks . I hope it helped. Good luck.
