The college offers a good atmosphere. Faculty are approachable, and there is one to one interaction.
Placements: There are no placements for architecture students. Students from the architecture branch have to apply for the internship facilities on their own. There is a placement cell but only for MBA and B.Tech students. Almost 60% of B.Tech students were placed in 2017.
Infrastructure: The college provides free Wi-Fi facility. During my tenure, labs were new, and also the computers were well maintained. All the computers were working efficiently. We had a small library for the architecture department, and it was enough for our branch students at least. Classrooms are equipped with whiteboard and projector. Moreover, we also had air-conditioners. Hostel rooms were okay, and they were old but manageable. But they were not good as compared to the hostel rooms of other colleges.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were approachable all the time and very welcoming. The teaching was very good. Site visits, practicals explanation with models, videos, seminars, group presentation, etc., are used for teaching. They provided really good industry exposure. Students were taken to many sites for the case study. The course curriculum was very systematic and it was prescribed by VTU.
Other: Campus crowd was too much. We had common fests and some fests only for architecture departments. The architecture syllabus was vast, and that would get many opportunities. We did not have enough time.

The college is great, but only in north Karnataka.
Placements: We generally in architecture department don't have something like placements, but we do get a recommendation from our faculty. Many of our seniors are doing well. The jobs and internships are many in other fields but nothing to do with the architecture.
Infrastructure: The college has a great library with great books. We need more interactive spaces in the department and better Wi-Fi connectivity, but overall the department works great with light and ventilation and also houses a clean work environment. I would like the department to have one lost and found a section for the number of things I've lost in the past.
Faculty: The college is autonomous now. The syllabus is quite improved. Still, it is in the development and experimental phase since it just got changed. The staff members are quite good, but we need more faculty members with better skills, but the ones you get are also good to set you up.

    Hi Lata, As you have scored 101 marks in NATA and your JEE Mains paper 2 score is 80 percentile, so you are eligible to take admission in Gogte College of Architecture. You should apply for this college. In the first or second round you will get a seat in this college. Best of luck.

    Hi, Yes, you have a fairly good chance with the above-mentioned score to get a seat in KLS GOGTE, but KCET cut-off is around 400, so private management quota maybe a feasible option.
