You can opt for the NEST exam, if you have interest in research work or you can opt for the Indian statistical institute. These are also two good colleges and exam for the entirely different stream that is known by very less students pursing to do B.Tech.

With this rank, it is bit difficult for anyone to predict that, as it may be possible that in JEE Mains your performance is not that much good as that much you have studied and you might have done better in VITEEE, so it is difficult to predict.

You should apply for the Mains counselling, but it is difficult to get any college or any branch at this score. But, no problem for the backup you can take for VIT in that you can opt for the Chennai, as with this rank, you can't get the main Vellore campus.

Hi Jay,
As per IIST Admission Norms, you need to have at least 5% in Jee Advance exam. Hence only JEE mains would not be sufficient. Detailed procedure you can get on the website.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck

Sorry, but here is no chance for less than 75%. It's an strict rule. You can try for private colleges.

No, as per my knowledge BMS take admission on basis of KCET for Karnataka Domiciled Students and COMED-K for outer state students. So, all the best.

The best places in Gujarat to do engineering is given below
1 NIT Surat, DAIICT (best college in Gujarat)
2 IIT Gn
3 Institute of Technology, Nirma University PDPU, Gandhinagar 4MSU, LDCE,
5 IITRAM, GCET BVM. DDIT, VGEC, SVIT
Generally cutoff for these colleges are high, so if you can't get into them Colleges like GSFCU SCET, Some GECs etc. Are there which are decent. Best of luck for your future endeavours.

Cut-off was nearly 12,500.
But this year, we can't predict the cut off as board marks won't be counted. Example a person with JEE marks 150 and high scores in board got rank nearly 10k but person with 180 in Mains and less marks in board got 19k rank. Now board marks are of no importance for Mains AIR so entire scenario will change. Coming to Gujarat state quota cut off is nearly 280-300 ACPC rank.

Hi,
If you have qualified JEE Main and interested in to participate in JEE Advance, then you have to pay Rs 2,600 as registration fee. Further, in JoSAA seat allotment round, if you are alloted a seat, then you have to pay Rs. 45,000 as seat acceptance fee. The remaining fee will be paid at the reporting center at the time of joining. Good luck.

Yes, you can easily get admission in these colleges at this score as according to the last year data but it might be possible that you will get this college in the last round of the counselling.
