You need to appear for JEE and qualify for the said college. Then you will have to appear in counselling and choose the college you want as your first option. You will be allotted the college if you are eligible. NSIT is a good college hence you will need to study hard for it.

You can score above 180 marks out of 360 if you solve 40 years question papers.

The syllabus is a complete set to get a 270+ marks. You can't escape anything, but yes you can give preferences to the topics, which you think you are comfortable with. Check weightage of every topic. And, try to change your plan after analysing yourself. Your presence of mind and your strategy is most important weapon in this exam and will take you too the result which you want.
