Students have the choice to submit scores of either MHT-CET or JEE (Main) entrance exam for BTech admission in HSNC University. So JEE (Main) score is not compulsory for HSNC University BTech admission. If a student does not have a valid score in either MHT-CET as well JEE (Main), then they have to appear for H-TCET which is conducted by HSNC University subject to available BTech seats.

The JEE Main rank needed would depend on the course chosen and the category of the candidate. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged between 108067 and 412869 for the BTech CSE course. Among all the colleges, Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon, was the hardest one for admission in the last round.

Yes, students may get a seat in NIT Puducherry BTech with 92 percentile in JEE Main through JoSAA counselling. The cutoff is high for specialisations, such as CSE. With NITPY being one of the top institutes and part of the NIT Tag, the cutoff is always high. But 92 percentile can be enough for later rounds of JoSAA. Students can check the last year trend to know more.
