No, BTech programme isn't free at NIT Meghalaya . Candidates seeking to get admission are required to pay the tuition fee which ranges between INR 5 lakh - 5.3 lakh, the fees exclude of Eamination Fee of the Semester Registration Fee,  Library Fee,  Laboratory Fee, Internet Fee, etc. However NIT Sikkim does have scholarship schemes for students. Yes,  JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to NIT Meghalaya BTech programme are out now but the dates are tentative. The JEE Main registraton has closed for now. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. NIT Meghalaya offers BTech programmes with a duration of four years. BTech programme at NIT Meghalaya is offered in provides five specialisations for the BTech programme, which include Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The eligibility criteria for the BTech specialisations includes tweleve years of shcool education with 75% aggregate. National entrance exams is the source of admission for the BTech programme.

Also candidates have to eligible for the BTech course  with twelve years of school education with PCM/ PBM with minimum of 75 % aggregate and ofcourse a valid score in JEE Main exam.
