All Institutions in Maharashtra are required to admit students based only on marks obtained in MHT CET and not JEE Mains. Hence, you are advised to appear for this if seeking admission in institute of your choice.

Yours is quite a curious case. More than 90% in boards and less than 50% in JEE Mains. To avoid such wide disparities, from this year onwards marks of 12th will not be considered for AIR.

VNIT, Nagpur is considered as one of the top ranking institutes and hence one needs to score about 250-300 marks to get admission in this college.
Best wishes.

The roll no. of class 12th is not of vital importance. Your actual academic record will be checked at the time when you will be allotted a seat and will be called for counseling.

Almost all the famous coaching institutes have their presence in Guwahati. However, I would advise you to select one that is near to your home and one that can give a little bit more personal attention.

I am afraid that the score of only 90 is not good enough for admission to NIT. I would advise you to aim for much more marks in next year's exam if you do not get admission this year.
Best wishes.

Even those students who are appearing for class 12th board exams are eligible to appear for JEE Mains. Marks in class 12th are definitely monitored to see if you have scored minimum required marks or not.

admissions to all engineering colleges in Maharashtra are not based on JEE Mains but are based on MHT CET only. Hence you have to apply through this entrance exam only.
