Your ranking is way off. Please ask yourself a question. Why Engineering? There are equally interesting professions other than engineering. Please select any one of these and I am sure you will achieve success.

I think from next year there will be only one Pan India entrance test for engineering on lines of NEET for medical. How it's going to affect ranking nobody knows! I advise to concentrate only on studies and don't pay attention to these things.

I feel, if you have rank around 35000 you should get admission in a NIT. For admission in a better NIT may be you should get good rank than this.

Your rank is not too low. Hence, I would say that you have enough chances of getting admission in your desired institute.

If you are short on time, then NCERT is the best tool. But, questions in JEE Mains are of different variety seeking logic in you. However, latest in fingertips surely can be used.

All online tests can be given over multiple days. Obviously, question paper cannot be same. However, paper setters and moderators ensure that difficulty level and coverage is same across different dates.

I understand Manipal University is expensive compared to other colleges due to the infrastructure they provides. I would suggest you to appear for the entrance examination and counselling process. You should contact them for refund rules too.

If you were not able to qualify JEE Mains, it's all right. What about your own states CET? There are other interesting courses too.

There are numerous websites offering this service and it is difficult to name all of them. You should take at least one mock test per week.

Different scores are required for different NIT's. Older and famous colleges require higher while those who have yet to show mettle require less. Around 250 is required to get admission and around 300 for better institute.
