The best books for the preparation are without doubt those prescribed by NCERT. These books are really great. However, you may get some coaching since it teaches you about the tricks of answering questions quickly.

OBC is a state category and hence may or may not be common among different states. Then again, you will have to check with the state in which you intend to take admission.

Hello Garima,
May I advise you to seriously seek counsel from the career counsellor. Why engineering? Commerce & humanities have equally good openings. The eligibility for NITs & IITs is 75% or more.

AIT is a quite good institute. IPU is a good option too. It's a tough decision but be advised that both are good and you would not regret any decision.

What happened in JEE Mains? Why so low marks in this exam? In COMEDK, you have a reasonable rank. I think you will get admission in one of the colleges with this rank.

I feel the mistake is not that serious. You can approach the administrator by email for the correction. What matters is marks scored and not the roll number?

Hello Ankit,
I think both cannot be the same things. Fundamentally, marks decide the ranking. Some state governments are accepting JEE Mains as criteria for admission but then again states are provided with the state ranking. So either states or NIT's, it's rank only.

Admission in this institute is not through JEE Mains but through Karnataka CET or COMEDK exams. You need to apply for the same and clear these exams.

This institute announces its own cut-off after the result of JEE Mains exam is announced. This institute has a very good name and you really need to have good ranking may be if less than 25,000 for admission.
