There are three steps:
1. Add personal and educational details.
2. Upload scanned photo, signature and thumb print.
3. Payment of fee by online banking or debit/credit card or paytm.

To get admission in SVNIT - Surat, the marks obtained in class 12th will not be considered this year. The score in JEE Mains will be counted. Your AIR will now be based on these marks. Hence, my advice is not to worry and concentrate on preparation for the exam.

Both are equally important, but class 12th marks will help you more to get admission in a decent college, other than NIT and IIT.
