You will need to tell me your state of eligibility, your category of reservation and preferred branch if any, then I will be able to tell you the cut off score. Get back to me with these details and I will reply back to you. By the way for general category, and outside Delhi almost all the branches get exhausted by 5000 rank to give you a perspective. The best way possible is to be clear and rigid with the basic concepts and a lot of practice. You can collect the previous year questions with solutions. You can try to incorporate new methods.

Hi Deep,
To get admission in SVNIT - Surat, the marks obtained in class 12th will not be considered this year. The score in JEE Mains will be counted. Your AIR will now be based on these marks. Hence, my advice is not to worry and concentrate on preparation for the exam.
Best of luck.

Hi,
Both are equally important, but class 12th marks will help you more to get admission in a decent college, other than NIT and IIT.

If you are able to score 120 or more in JEE Mains and above 75% in boards, then there is nothing to worry. You will get admission in a good government college. If you score more than 250, you may get admission in NIT.
