What is the cutoff for JEE mains? I have heard that you need to score at least 75% in JEE mains.

75% is not a criteria. There is a cutoff which is changed every time depending on the difficulty of the paper. Students who qualify are eligible for giving JEE-advance.

Bit 50-50 Depends on Your board 40percentile bcoz fm mains marks its bit hard but board will play d role .
