No, JEE(Main) is only for to pursue Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments.
These are the some other engineering entrance examination in India:
UPSEE,
SRMEEE,
CET,
COMEDK,
KCET, ,
EAMCET,
MPPEPT,
KEAM,
GPET,
BITSAT.
etc.
After clearing them with good rank , you also have chance to get good government/private college.
Some institute also offer direct admission on the basis of your 10+2 marks like Anna University, Lovely Professional University etc.

The IIT Council has clearly spelt out the eligibility criteria for students who have given their XII Boards in 2013, for those who are writing betterment in 2014 and for those who are writing their XII boards for the first time in 2014 and for foreign nationals.

Hi,
To be eligible for JEE Mains, one needs to fulfill the criteria mentioned below.
* A candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2013 may also appear in JEE MAIN 2013 provisionally.
* Candidates who are aspirants for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs , IITs and ISM Dhanbad - for one or more than one of them - must confirm to the eligibility criteria of the relevant institutions.
* Candidates are allowed maximium of 3 consecutive attempts.
* Candidates who passed +2 exam in 2011 or 2012 or appearing in +2 in 2013
