Session-1 marks are enough for admission in B.Tech courses. However if you are giving session-2, then best one will be counted for admission. Candidates who had filled out the JEE Mains 2023 registration form in session 1 need not register again for session 2. All candidates who have applied in session 1 and wish to apply for session 2 can log in with their existing application number and password to fill out the JEE Main 2023 session 2 application form.

Therefore, if you have a choice between 87 marks in JEE Mains and 288 marks in UPSEE, it is recommended to go for admission through JEE Mains if you are confident of securing a good college based on your rank. First, you have to make sure what are your the strongest areas, then you need to work on them. You could take previous JEE exams all papers for Physics memorise all the formulas for the questions, and then attempt the questions. I'm not going to lie to you, you cannot cover entire syllabus in 8-9 days. But memorising easy topics from Physics Chemistry and Maths might give you an advantage.
