MDes eligibility at NID Ahmedabad is Bachelor degree of 4-year or 3-year duration from a recognised University. General category students should be born on or after July 1, 1994 to apply for the course.

Yes, candidates seeking admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram M.Des course need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. To be eligible for IIIT Kancheepuram M.Des admission, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Design/ Architecture (under 10+2+4 years regular) with a minimum aggregate of 60% (55% aggregate in case of SC/ ST/ PwD) or equivalent grades in the qualifying degree.

IIITDM Kancheepuram M.Des fees is INR 2.2 lakh. This fee information is sourced from the official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change.  Apart from the mentioned tuition fee, candidates also need to pay a one-time fee of INR 5,000. The cne-time payment includes the admission fee, certificate/ thesis fee, student welfare fee, infrastructure development fee, alumni life membership fee, publication fee/ library fee and cultural fee. Also, candidates must pay the registration fee of INR 1,000 while registering in the IIITM Kancheepuram's official website.

The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the admission hanbooks for the B.Des and M.Des courses. It contains the list of exam cities for DAT Prelims exam for each course.

As per information given in the M.Des Admission Handbook, the DAT Prelims exam in the following cities - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kurukshetra, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada.

The candidate can select their choice of exam city when filling out the NID DAT 2024 application form. 

The National Institite of Design (NID) will conduct the DAT Prelims exam for both the B.Des and M.Des programs on December 24, 2024. The admit cards for the two programs will also be released on the same date, i.e. December 12, 2023.

To download the admit card, the candidate needs to go to the NID admission portal - admissions.nid.edu. On the portal, the M.Des DAT Prelims admit card download link will be given.Click on the link, and then log in using your email id and date of birth. On successful login, you can download the admit card.
