the eligibility to study Masters in marine biology is to have bachelors degree in chemistry, zoology, botany, geography, geology, physiology, biochemistry and microbiology. You need to have the basics of the subject that are taught in the above mentioned subjects.

It all depends on the dynamics of the situation. How many students are desirous of this branch, number of seats available etc. But, it's reasonable to say that a student with 60% marks has good chances of getting admission. Best wishes to you.
