After BE Mechanical & MBA your CV will have an extra edge. Generally during 2 years of MBA studies the first year curriculum contains core papers and in the second year you will do specialisation therefore I advise you not to worry about specialisations right now rather you have to prepare yourself for getting into the best B-school in India good luck.

Any field of engineering is as good as any other and you can sketch out the career best if you are interested in that. No specialization can be generalized to be the best. If you want to go with mechanical engineering you should proceed. Also for better career kick start choose a college which emphasizes on practical education as well as good placement records.
