University of Pennsylvania is ranked at #12 according to the QS World University Rankings 2024 and is ranked #16 according to the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2024. Comparatively, Pennsylvania State University is ranked lower than University of Pennsylvania. According to the QS World University Rankings, Penn State University is ranked at #93 in 2023.

Hi Harsha, it is difficult to answer if you will get admission as it is a decision taken by the university after evaluating all competing applicants. A GRE score of 310 and above usually is recommended but class profiles comprises of students with varying education background. You seem to have a decent profile. Give the TOEFL and aim the CGPA of 8 to 9 as you mentioned. Try to engage in more activities like project work, a very good internship or final year project should help.
