Yes, for PhD at Jindal Global Business School you need to pay an application fee of INR 1,000. This fee has to be paid in order to submit the application form successfully. The fee payment shall be accepted in online mode via credit card/debit card/net banking. However, the mentioned fee amount is as per the past years' data and hence, is indicative.

The semester-wise fee for PhD is INR 75,000. Additionally, the deemed university provides financial assistance towards the tuition fees and stipend to all research students (PhD) of good standing. Normally, full financial assistance requires the student to put in 20 hours of work per week. Financial assistance is provided to all the students during the first semester, but it is continued based on good academic performance.

A PhD student can take the relevant courses in the first one or two semesters, depending on the background, just like a student of MS by research. After the first year, the student works on clearing the PhD qualifying exam which tests his or her breadth of knowledge in the field of study.
