To be eligible for the Ph.D. programme in Management Sciences at Karunya School of Management (KSM), Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (KIT), Coimbatore, candidates must have a Master's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university with at least 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA, with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Admission requires qualifying in an entrance examination conducted by the institution, though candidates who have cleared national-level tests like UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET, SLET, SET, or GATE are exempted. The entrance exam date for December 2024 PhD is 8th January. Applications opened on November 21, 2024 while the deadline to submit applications fell on December 31, 2024. The authorities released the admit card on January 3, 2025 during the admission process. All participants receive hundred multiple-choice questions which do not penalize wrong answers during the exam. Candidates needed to secure at least 50% marks in the exam to proceed to the interview round with additional 5% concession for reserved candidates. The application fee for general candidates amounted to INR 1,000 while members of reserved categories needed to pay INR 800.
