Students seeking to pursue the PhD admission at Kaziranga University must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
- A Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or is equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 10-point scale OR a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent.

Aspirants, to be eligible, must write GATE exam. However, for final selection, the institute conducts a college-level entrance and also conducts a Personal Interview round to shortlist students.
