Q: What is the SUAS Indore admission process for BTech?

Below is the SUAS admission process for BTech: Step 1: SUAS Indore BTech Application Process 2024 The mode of application is online. Candidates have to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 to apply for BBA course. Step 2: Selection Rounds SUAS Indore shortlists candidates for BTech admission based on JEE Main or CUET or SET or any other Engineering entrance exam. Admission to BTech lateral entry will be based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Step 3: Merit List SUAS Indore prepares a merit list based on the performance of the candidates in all the selection rounds. After preparing the merit list, the university informs the same of the aspirants and calls them for the rounds to confirm admission in appropriate rounds. Step 4: Admission Confirmation The shortlisted candidates have to come for document verification and confirm their admission by paying the course fee.

Placements: In the logistics and supply chain management course, 100% of students are placed. The highest package offered is 13 LPA after BBA, and the average package is 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Mahindra, Eicher, Maersk, Wipro, and John Deere.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good and we have a digital library, smart classrooms fully air-conditioned, high-speed Wi-Fi, an amphitheatre, a big auditorium, a basketball court, a gaming zone, a cultural centre, a skill center, and a canteen. There is a hostel, gym, mess, and Nescafé in college.

Faculty: Our professors are highly qualified and they have published many research papers. My professor has issued more than 200 research papers. Exams are easy because our college is based on 75% practical and 25% theoretical knowledge.

Other: I have chosen logistics and supply chain management because in the future, there will be a higher scope and need for the best supply chain experts. Currently, there is a higher demand for logistics and supply chain experts. In my college, we celebrate all the festivals, and every 15 days, there are new events. Our college is international. Our college provides 10 types of scholarships to eligible students.

Placements: It offers placements but not as to your expectations. You will have to work hard and try to find the job which suits you. This a private college and the more experience you gather on your CV or resume, the more it's going to help you in the future.

Infrastructure: Food is good as the canteen offers a variety of food menu and the hostel has a lot of amenities like the gym, the mess, basketball court, volleyball court, etc. Facilities are under surveillance and are safe. It also offers vending machines for students to eat snacks or munchies.

Faculty: The education and faculty members are top-notch and they know what they have to teach and make the subject fun and easy to learn. The faculty members are open-minded and listen to student's problems and also give you helpful advice which will enhance your communication.

Other: Digital media and marketing is the next big thing. I felt that it would play a big impactful role in creating future jobs and openings which is the main reason I selected this course. Events are top-notch as students we have to organize these events and manage them.

Poor management and uneventful campus life.

Placements: Placement services provided are below par both in UG and PG courses. Companies do not prefer to come to this college, and the ones that conduct drives offer very low packages. The best company till date has been Barclays, which ultimately got disappointed because of the quality of the students. Internship roles offered are mostly unpaid, irrelevant, and mostly of sales which provides students with very little exposure to their field.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is better than most colleges. It offers comfortable classrooms, labs, and a central library. The location of this college can be a problem at times as it is situated very far from the city, often resulting in issues while booking cabs. Hostel facilities are good as well. However, the food could be better.

Faculty: University deems itself as a skill university but miserably falls short of imparting technical skills to the students. The curriculum is purely theoretical and similar to any other traditional university. Most teachers are qualified and good at their work. However, many faculty members are very interested in teaching. Exams are moderately difficult and almost all the students pass.

Other: University has no particular eligibility criteria (merit basis) and offers easy admissions. Its an attractive choice for students because of the goodwill the Symbiosis Group has maintained all these years. The quality of the crowd is poor as there are no merit requirements or selection process. The university really needs to work on its management even after charging hefty fees to the students. They are unable to impart the expected services. Lack of college life is a major concern for students as the university doesn't provide much budget for events/ fests, making ones college life monotonous and dull.

The right review of the right college.

Placements: The placements are good here. The average CTC offered is 11 Lacs and the highest package offered is 46 Lacs. The placements department helps us to crack high packages. If you don't get place in the on-campus drive, you are sent to Pune for other company interviews. Overall, the experience here is good and if you have skills, you can easily get placed.

Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure in Indore as well as in Madhya Pradesh. They have the biggest auditorium in the city and the biggest building. All the departments have their separate buildings here. The hostel is also very big and spacious. The overall experience is nice here and I recommend you to visit first and then decide about the admission.

Faculty: The faculty here is very helpful. They help you with your academics and projects along with the placements. They help you clear the exams easily. They are available all the time to clear our doubts. Most of the faculty members are like friends. They help to get the students placed in good companies.

Other: Everything here is good, but the fee is very high.

Placements: Top recruiting companies like Byju's, Greendeck, Muniversiti, and Walbury Technolabs visit our campus. Since all students must do internships and all students get internships. Placements offered are average. The highest salary package offered is 27 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA to 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences is very good. Although classrooms don't have any air-conditioning, major labs have air-conditioners. There are labs that every mechatronics engineering student should learn about. The workshop is very useful to students.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They help you with classroom work as well as extra things like helping with patenting your idea and publishing your review paper. They have 3 MSTs and 1 EST every semester. The semester is for 6 months.

Placements: We have faculty mentors that manage and guide us throughout the course. Most of the students pursue master further in higher studies, and the rest sit for placements. More than 90% of the students get placed. The highest package offered in the year 2022 was INR 24 LPA and the lowest ranges around INR 3 LPA- INR 4 LPA. Hence, you can get an average of around INR 8 LPA. Students apply for off-campus too. Companies like Microsoft and other service-based companies such as Wipro, TCS, and Cognizant visit the campus for placement. Also, 100% of students get internships either paid or unpaid. Top roles like analyst or full stack developer or associate developer are offered.

Infrastructure: We have excellent infrastructure which is the best among any of the colleges in Indore or Madhya Pradesh. We have fully air-conditioned smart labs with updated computers. Also, you can find projectors and smart boards in every classroom and a central library with a beautiful interior. Hostel facilities are also very good. However, there you may find an issue with food served in mess and canteen. Medical facilities you can find for a general check-up. You may find some sports as well, such as lawn tennis, volleyball, basketball, and football. There are also indoor games such as chess, and table tennis.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful enough to get your work done. Most of them have done Ph.D. in their fields. Not all the teachers are good, some are knowledgeable and the rest are just to pass the attendance criteria. Semester exams have a moderate difficulty level. One can pass it if he/she has scored above 35%.
