Yes, School of Ayurveda, DY Patil Navi Mumbai offers three-year full-time and four-year part-time PhD course. Aspirants who have completed MD/ MS in relevant subjects are eligible to apply for the PhD programme. The university conducts PET for admission to PhD in Ayurveda.

 The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. If you think you won't get a good job or good placements here, then you are wrong. It all depends upon the students, if they score well in exams or if they have a good CGPA, they can have a salary package of 40 LPA.

The highest salary package offered is around 40 LPA - 50 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Students don't know what is the highest and average salary packages offered this year. Around 80-90% of students got placed in our college. The

The Vellore Institute of Technology Research Entrance Examination (VITREE) exam pattern for Direct PhD applicants is as follows -

  • The VITREE is conducted online, and the examination lasts two hours.

  • A total of 100 MCQs will be asked in the examination. 

  • For each correct answer, 1 mark will be rewarded. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. 

  • The VITREE question paper for PhD consists of the following questions: (Technical - 80 questions, English communication skills - 20 questions).

PhD in architecture and planning is offered only at VIT Vellore campus. Candidates who want to apply to architecture and planning must have a bachelor's degree in architecture and planning, followed by a master's degree in architecture/design/planning/building engineering and management or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale. The degree must be completed on a regular or full-time basis.

Candidates applying for VITREE 2026 (PhD in engineering) must meet the following qualification criteria -

  • Master's degree in engineering/technology in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA on a 10-point scale

  • M.Sc computer science, M.Sc (IT), and MCA degree holders are eligible to apply for PhD programme in computer Science engineering/information technology. 

For Direct PhD admissions, graduates must have an outstanding academic record in their bachelor's degree with a minimum of 75% marks or a CGPA of 7.5 on a 10-pointscale.
