This means that while other tests like IELTS assess both these skills in different sections using methods (human examiners tests the speaking skills on a different day than the main exam day), the PTE exam assesses both these skills altogether in a single sitting, in 1 single section. This difference in the exam pattern may lead the test takers to believe that the PTE exam is tougher than the other exams. However, the level of diffic

It depends. Some students find IELTS easier because it feels more real and friendly. The Speaking test in IELTS is face-to-face with an examiner, not with a computer like in PTE or TOEFL. But TOEFL has more academic-style English, and PTE gives fast results.

Unlike the IELTS exam, the PTE exam is concluded in a single sitting within a day. While students get to attempt all the three parts of the PTE exam within a single sitting, the Speaking section of the IELTS exam needs to be attempted on a different day then the rest of its sections (or the main exam), and it can be taken within 1 week of the main exam. The overall duration of the PTE exam is also shorter than the IELTS exam, i.e. ~2 hours and 2 hours 45 minutes respectively.
