For the comfort of study abroad aspirants, PLC Group – the conducting body of the PTE Academic exam had launched the PTE Academic at Home version. The test could be taken from the comfort of the homes of the candidates.

However, it is important to note that the PTE Academic online version of the test has now been discontinued by the Pearson PLC Group. Hence, currently students cannot take the PTE exam from home.

No, creating more than one account to book PTE test slots is not allowed and encouraged. If you happen to create two different accounts, you are advised to merge both these accounts prior to booking a PTE exam slot to avoid any delays.

Yes, Pearson, on its own discretion allows you only to reschedule your test to another test date - without any extra charge. This can be availed of only in two circumstances - illness and/or family emergency, either of which doesn't allow you to reach the PTE test centre on the due date.

If you cancel your PTE exam when there are less than 7 days left for your PTE test day then, you will not get any refund of your PTE exam fees submitted at the time of booking. This is the only condition for getting absolutely nothing refunded on your PTE exam cancellation.

However, if you get aware of your unavailability for the test anytime earlier, say 13-8 days before the test day then, you may still get a 50% refund of your PTE test booking amount, i.e. INR 9,000.

Yes, you can easily reschedule your PTE exam for free, given that you keep track of the date. You can log into your My PTE account and check the instructions for rescheduling your exam.

Remember, if there are more than 14 calendar days to your exam day when you opt for rescheduling, you won't have to pay any money and it will be free of cost.
