Unlike the IELTS exam, the PTE exam is concluded in a single sitting within a day. While students get to attempt all the three parts of the PTE exam within a single sitting, the Speaking section of the IELTS exam needs to be attempted on a different day then the rest of its sections (or the main exam), and it can be taken within 1 week of the main exam. The overall duration of the PTE exam is also shorter than the IELTS exam, i.e. ~2 hours and 2 hours 45 minutes respectively.

The Pearson PLC Group has pioneered the AI scoring when it comes to international English tests. It uses sophisticated AI algorithms, based on the 100s and 1000s of real test responses. This makes the PTE test scoring accurate, and free of any bias and human errors (except for a few, where human scoring is done).

You can take the PTE test for as many times as you want with only 1 condition, i.e. you can take the test only 12 times within a period of 12 months. This simply means that if you already took the PTE test 12 times in 7 months of time then, you will have to wait 5 months to take the test again.
If you need to take the test for more thn 12 times in a 12 month window then, you may request for one as an exception. For that purpose, you will have to connect with the Pearson Customer Support team.

Yes, you can retake the PTE test if you haven't received your desired scores. However, you can do so only after receiving scores from your last test. You may choose any next convenient date for your PTE exam, even within the same month.
