The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), and Deakin University are high-ranking and well-known universities located in Australia. The RMIT university ranking among the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings in 2026 is #125, whereas, Deakin University ranking is #207 according to the top-ranking publishers. Some other parameters to take into consideration to determine which university is better include the tuition fees, the programs offered, the scholarships available to international students, placement opportunities, accommodation and meals, and the overall campus and student life at the university.

Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology is a world leader in Arts & Design, Architecture and Built Environment, Engineering, Computer Science and Information Systems, Business and Management, etc. In the QS rankings, various courses are included in the Top 50, Top 100, Top 150, etc. In the Top 50 rankings, a few of the subjects that rank well are Arts and Design, Architecture and Built Environment, and Communications and Media Studies.

RMIT University offers two types of MBA programs- the normal MBA and Executive MBA course. The MBA courses at the university has focused on the fundamentals of Business Management and Creative Problem Solving. 

The Executive MBA course has been designed for the students who wish to work on their career and professional development. The students will get an opportunity to learn from leading industry developers, through the Harvard Business School case studies. 

Both the MBA and Executive MBA courses are offered at the main RMIT University campus and online as well.
