While applying to RMIT University, students are required to send the following documents:
- Academic Transcripts from all qualifications undertaken;
- Graduation certificates (official awards);
- English Language Proficiency scores;
- CV or Resume
- Personal statement;
- References from employer (if applicable);
- Research proposal with two names of research supervisors’ and list of prior research publications (For Master by Research and PhD program);
- Additional documents; and
- Passport copy (if available).

Some of the top-ranking universities in Australia are the University of Melbourne, The University of Sydney, Monash University, UNSW Sydney, Australlian National University in the 2026 Times Higher Education rankings.
Whereas, in QS world rankings for 2026, Australia-based top ranking universities are the University of Melbourne, Syndey University, Monash University, the Uni of Western Australia, Australian National University, etc.
