The steps to apply for graduate courses at RMIT university are given as follows:

  • The student should prepare their documents based on the eligibility criteria. Some of the documents required are Employment History, Previous study details, Personal basic details and Academic Records.
  • The student must complete the online application along with the non-refundable application fee. 
  • Once the student has submitted the application, they should receive a response in the next 1 to 4 weeks with the admission outcome and next steps.

While applying to RMIT University, students are required to send the following documents:

  • Academic Transcripts from all qualifications undertaken;
  • Graduation certificates (official awards);
  • English Language Proficiency scores;
  • CV or Resume
  • Personal statement;
  • References from employer (if applicable);
  • Research proposal with two names of research supervisors’ and list of prior research publications (For Master by Research and PhD program);

RMIT offers a range of scholarships to international students. Future Leaders Scholarship is offered to international students belonging to countries like India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal or Pakistan who will start their Bachelor or Master by coursework programme at RMIT University. As per this scholarship, 20% fee tuition fee reduction for the programme duration outlined on your offer letter is done. RMIT also welcomes students who have scholarship funded by their home government.

Yes, an international student who wants to take admission at RMIT needs to submit IELTS score to prove the English language proficiency. The minimum IELTS average score required for undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree by research programme is 6.5 - 8.0. However, You can also submit scores of TOEFL or PTE or any other tests (as applicable).
