RMIT University, Australia, accepts admission based on clearing the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) certificate, provided it is equivalent to Australian Year-12. NIOS is acknowledged by the Association of Indian Universities, and the recognition and process of admission varies depending on the actual situation so far evaluated by RMIT in India case-by-case.

The duration RMIT University Australia Master of Food Science and Technology course is 2 years. The tuition fee for 2025 year for this course is AUD 41,280 (Around INR 23 lakh). To take admission to this course, students are required to have an Australian Bachelor's degree or equivalent overseas qualification in Engineering, Science, Nutrition, Agriculture, Vet. Science, Medical or Biomedical Science that includes courses or units in Chemistry or Biochemistry and Nutrition or microbiology with a minimum GPA of 2.0. To prove English language proficiency, students can submit IELTS / TOEFL / PTE score.

RMIT University Australia MBA course requirements are given below: 

  • An Australian UG degree or equivalent overseas qualification in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution with a minimum GPA of 1.0

OR

  • An Australian UG degree or equivalent overseas qualification in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution with a minimum GMAT score of 550

Students have to submit IELTS with 6.5 overall score / TOEFL with 79 score / PTE with minimum 58 score. The entry requirements may be slightly different for MBA course duration of 1.5 years.

Yes, an international students can work part-time while studying at RMIT. International students are allowed to work up to 48 hours every two weeks (per fortnight) while studying. During the study breaks, students can work for unlimited hours. The Australian international student visa (sub-class 500) allows students to work while they study.
