There is an exam which is IISC P.Hd entrance test. I would suggest you to attend to get seat in IISC and IIT for Ph.D in Chemistry and their cutoffs.

Hi Khusboo, Most of the states universities / colleges have certain number of seats reserved under the defence quota. So you must apply to all the colleges of your choice - you might get chance to get through.

It is not possible to get a seat in Sree vidyanikethan engineering college if you are belonging to a general category but it is possible to get a seat when you are belonging to SC or ST or if you are from backward class also u have chances to get in among three counsellings.
