I am also attending the counselling this year 2018 in Kattankulathur. 18828 is a pretty good rank for the main campus, but from what I heard from seniors is that one must have AIR 10,000 minimum for CSE in KTR campus. Other annexure campuses, you are sure to get.

SRM has just announced dates of counselling for admission. CSE branch is the most sought after and one needs to be in 90 percentile to get admission. I am afraid you have low ranking and looks tough to get your desired branch.

No, you can't as the counseling takes place only in the main campus that is in Chennai.

Sorry to say but rank is very low but you can try through management quota you will get CSE.Good luck.

There is little chance is getting CSE with this rank, but you can get IT or software branch.

No, you won't get it but can get CSE in main campus through management quota.

You can get ECE, aerospace, EEE, nanotechnology, EIE, software engineering.

Getting ECE in the main campus is bit difficult but try to sit in counselling you might get it.

SRM is a good option. The reason I am suggesting SRM is the campus life is really happening placements are very decent compared to any other private colleges in India. You have variety of opportunities to develop yourself in any field you want we have many clubs ranging from making satellites and sending them to space to making f1 cars . you never get bored in the campus. Infrastructure and the labs are very modern you have great scope for research also. The college fests are lit .
