For admission to one-year LLM or five-year LLB at TNNLU Tiruchirappalli, the CLAT test was conducted in December last year. Aspirants of TNNLU Tiruchirappalli are required to appear for the exam in offline pen-paper mode at the allotted test centres. The exam took place in more than 125 cities listed as CLAT 2026 test centres in 22 states and UTs.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is expected to release the CLAT Notification 2026 anytime soon. The CLAT 2026 Application Process is likely to begin in the next few days. Exam Date: December 14, 2025 (tentative). Only students who fill out the application form as well as, pay the fee are issued admit cards to appear for CLAT exam. Students can log in using their registered mobile number and password to update their preferences in CLAT application form.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) batch at IIM Trichy, the CAT test was conducted on November 24, 2024. Aspirants of IIM Trichy are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam is held in three slots:
- Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
- Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
