You don't necessarily require skills before you enroll in a degree. You could use some pre-requisites but those too are mere suggestions. The course itself is designed to teach you skills. Normally in February every year, a notification from ICAR is given for admission to Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral courses of various Agricultural Universities and Colleges of ICAR and States. There is an online entrance exam like JEE, AIEE, etc. in the second week of June, based on the course applied among the eligible candidates. The result is declared in four weeks. Yes, students can apply for BSc Agriculture while waiting for their class 12th results. They can appear for entrance exams like CUET or ICAR. Not many Colleges affiliated to Delhi University offer a BSc in Agriculture. Although they do provide a BSc in various specializations, Agriculture is not one of them. Some of the top government colleges, other than DU, offering a BSc in Agriculture are as follows-
