As an Indian applicant, for the University of Melbourne admission, the applicants are required to meet the below-given requirements -

  • UG: The applicant should have an All India Senior School Certificate from CBSE / Indian School Certificate from CISCE. Also, the applicants must have a minimum overall GPA in Class 12 as required
  • PG: To pursue Melbourne University's master's programs, the applicants should have an undergraduate degree from a recognised institute. Make sure to check the minimum marks (as applicable)

Monash University and the University of Melbourne, both are reputed universities in Australia so the choice between the two completely depends on individual preference, course choice, academic and fee structure. If students want a comparison of the acceptance policy then the UMelbourne follows an easy acceptance policy with a 70% acceptance rate. On the other hand, Monash University follows quite tough selection criteria with a 40% acceptance rate.

Application processing usually commences after the application deadline. In some cases, completed applications will be processed on a rolling basis before the program deadline.
