The mode of instructions at the University of Melbourne is English. All international students are required to demonstrate their proficiency in the English language. The University of Melbourne accepts all the major English language test scores. The minimum English language tests scores required for admissions at the University of Melbourne are:
- IELTS: An overall score of 6.5 is required
- TOEFL: An overall score of 79 is required

1. A graduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution
2. You must have passed any of the English eligibility tests (TOEFL, PTE, or IELTS). It is not required if your complete education was in English.
3. You must also have passed the GMAT or GRE test.

- Candidate must possess 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level or equivalent with Mathematics, as one of the subjects at 10+2 level.
