The University of Melbourne is good for international students for the following reasons:
- The university has been ranked #1 in Australia and #32 in the world according to official sources. It also has a ranking of #6 in the world for graduate employability.
- Melbourne University has a range of campuses in Australia as well as in the outskirts of the city and some of them are Parkville, Southbank, Burnley, Dookie, Creswick and Shepparton.

According to the QS World Rankings 2024, University of New South Wales has a ranking of #19 and University of Melbourne has a ranking of #14. Some of the other world rankings of the universities are given as follows:

Yes. the University of Melbourne has collaborated with nationally recognised student accommodation providers to provide affordable and comfortable housing to students. The accommodations and housing options for its students are located just a short walk from the Parkville campus in the heart of the city of Melbourne. The university-owned accommodations are; Lisa Bellear House, The Lofts at Melbourne Connect, Little Hall, and University Apartment.

Besides the Parkville campus the University of Melbourne has six specialist campuses located throughout Greater Melbourne and regional Victoria and three innovation precincts in Melbourne's central business district. The other campuses are Parkville campus, Southbank campus, Burnley campus, Dookie campus, Creswick campus, Werribee campus, and Shepparton campus.

The assessment of the University of Melbourne application will take approximately 2-4 weeks for UG courses. In case of the PG courses, the assessment of the application will take around 4-8 weeks. And, the assessment of the applications of the majority of the research degrees may take 8 to 12 weeks, but, some PG schools assess the applications in round on the specific dates.

Tuition fee for international students is charged for each year. Tuition fee is payable according to specific enrolment in any given semester. Tuition fee of student will depend on type and number of subjects you will take, and you will pay according to the subjects you are studying and not your degree. The total tuition fee payable will be provided when you are offered a place at the University of Melbourne. The tuition fee for international students starting their classes is around INR 24 Lacs - 32 Lakh.
