The University of Melbourne accepts Indian students for admission in undergraduate and graduate courses. Currently, there are over 1,300 Indian student enrolled at the university. Applicants who graduate with a CBSE All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) / CISCE Indian School Certificate (ISC) are eligible for Melbourne undergraduate admission. They must achieve the minimum overall GPA in Year 12, have completed any course prerequisite subjects and meet English language requirements to be eligible for direct entry into a Bachelors degree.

University of Melbourne placement rate attracts students from all over the world. To be eligible for Students@Work Internship program at the University of Melbourne, students must be enrolled at this university for the duration of the internship. UG students can go for internships from the second year onwards. Whereas, PG students can start the internship from the first year onwards. Students must also be able to commit for internship 10-21 hours.

Yes, international students at Melbourne University can work on-campus while studying at the university. International students can go for part-time job roles at Retail and Hospitality, Tutoring, Office Administration, etc. Part-time work in Australia usually involves regular hours not more than 48 hours per fortnight, with leave benefits calculated depending on the student time at work.
