Internatioanl students must submit a GMAT score to get admission to the University of Melbourne MBA course. As a general MBA requirement, the university has specified the minimum score needed in GMAT is 560. The university has also mentioned that recent students have achieved an average GMAT score of 695 or higher.

While both universities are top-ranking public universities in Australia, the University of Western Australia ranks #77 for 2025 in the World University ranking and the University of Melbourne ranks #13 indicating that the University of Melbourne has a higher ranking than the University of Western Australia.

According to various sources, University of Melbourne has an overall acceptance rate of 70% making it less selective for international student admissions. Some of the general admission requirements for Indian students are the minimum GPA requirements along with the Grade 12 scores.
